OVERVIEW
Summer Splash is a VBUMC-sponsored summer program whose purpose is to offer children a summer opportunity for age-appropriate fun, Christian fellowship, on-site activities and off-site field trips.  Summer Splash provides a safe, structured, Christian environment.  Curriculum is Christian-based, and will include a daily Bible lesson.
 
The program is self-funded by registration and program fees.
 
Targeting infants through rising sixth grade children, Summer Splash offers TWO FOUR-WEEK SESSIONS in a loving Christian environment.  Parents may sign their child up for one or both sessions.  During either session, a child may come one day per week or both, paying accordingly.  Over each 8-day session, children will enjoy Christian activities, games and stories in addition to on-site activities for all children and off-site activities for older children.
 
On-site activities include but are not limited to the Bird Lady, SPCA, Music with Miss Char, Aquarium Hermit Crabs and Potts N Paint.
 
Off-site activities include but are not limited to the Marine Science Museum, the Lighthouse Museum, Jungle Golf, Young Chef’s, Botanical Gardens, Mount Trashmore, Pinboy’s Bowling, Potts N Paints, Red Wing Park and the Jumping Monkey.
 
Preschool Children – Do NOT go off-site.
 
Summer Splash Session Days and Dates
Session One – Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 22nd through July 15th, 10am - 2pm
Session Two – Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 27th through August 19th, 10am - 2pm
 
Fee Schedule 2010
(Parents may enroll in one session or both)
One session - one day - $101 due at registration
One session - both days - $177 due at registration
 
Both sessions - one day  - $202 ($126 due at registration & $76 due by June 22nd)
Both sessions - both days - $354 ($202 due at registration & 152 due by June 22nd)
 
NOTE:  Sorry, no muliple child discount.  Fees listed above include a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per session.  Fees are non-refundable once session has begun.
 
Order of Registration
Church Families:  April 18th-26th
Tables will be set up on the second floor by the Media Center on Sunday, April 18th, 2010 from 10:00-11:00 am ONLY!  After this, all forms and checks must be placed in the Summer Splash box located at the nursery/PDO desk on the first floor.
 
Currently-enrolled PDO Families and former Summer Splash Families: April 27th– May 2nd 
Tables will be set up on the first floor near the nursery desk, Tuesday, April 27th  from 10:00 until 11:00 am ONLY!  After this, all forms and checks must be placed in the Summer Splash box located at the nursery/PDO desk on the first floor.
 
Open to the Community: Monday, May 3rd

NOTE:  The registration form and all fees must be collected before any child’s spot is guaranteed.
