We welcome you to our Sunday School Class, which meets in Room N-209. The class mission is to:
further the cause of Christianity and to promote Christian fellowship;
enrich the spiritual and social life of each member;
spread love and Christian benevolence throughout our community and the world;
uphold and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to all whom we meet.
We seek to do the above through an organized and intentional weekly study of the Bible We use material published by Cook Communications titled "Understanding the Bible", which is organized according to a systematic plan that will take us through every book of the Bible. Every member of the class receives a study book each quarter. These studies help individuals to better understand the Word of God and its application to their lives. We usually meet for fellowship on the second Saturday of the month - sometimes in members' homes, sometimes in the Potter's House. Members take turns hosting these socials, while other members bring food. After the meal, there is usually a brief business meeting followed by time to get to know what is going on in each others lives.
At Thanksgiving and Christmas we do a service project to help the needy; we also administer a mission scholarship fund. In addition, the class has an active prayer chain in order to support one another.
Our class president is Charlie Greiner (425-6610), and our teachers are Dick Andrews, Ron Dyer, Jim Eilertsen, and Townley Wolfe.
