CHILDREN’S MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Children’s Church - AGES 3 through 2nd GRADE
Available at 8, 9:30 and 11:00AM after children’s moment children ages 3 through 2nd grade move to the prayer chapel for children’s worship and then upstairs to room S209 to complete their worship bulletin and for parent pick-up.  For more information, click here.

*WORSHIP BAGS-These are wonderful and useful bags filled with books, crayons, worship bulletins and other goodies so children can learn to sit through church. They are located at the back of the sanctuary on the first floor in the narthex. Please return after use.

Route 52

All third grade students will attend ROUTE 52.  This is an exciting new Bible study for children, taking them on a journey from Genesis to Revelation.

  • ROUTE 52 is both an overview of the Bible and lessons for children on how to use their Bibles effectively.
  • The children attending ROUTE 52 have been commissioned by the Directory of Children's Ministries to "paint the walls" of Room 307, depicting their journey through the Bible.  This project has been approved and encouraged by the VBUMC trustees.
  • At 9:30, ROUTE 52 is THE Sunday school for 3rd grade students, beginning Sunday, September 12th in Room 307.
  • At 11:00, we are so excited about ROUTE 52 that we are offering it to the 3rd-4th-5th grade group, making sure that every child who can benefit from this study has the opportunity to do so.  This class will also be held in room 307.
  • In future years, ROUTE 52 will be offered as a regular course for all third grade students.
