Parents’ Day Out & Preschool (PDO) allows parents a four hour time block during the day to plan appointments, run errands, etc., while knowing their child will receive loving, competent care.  The program runs from September through May on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  Parents’ Day Out & Preschool is a nine-month program, rather than a drop-in sitting service.  Registration begins in February for the following Septembers.  For more information regarding enrollment and fees, please contact the Director, Jill Thomas, 757-428-7727 .
 
VBUMC Parents’ Day Out has had the pleasure of providing a safe, nurturing program for young  children for over 20 years.  The program accepts children from 6 weeks of age.
 
VBUMC Preschool has had the pleasure of providing a quality education program to the Virginia  each community for over 20 years. Our teachers provide a loving, nurturing environment where children can learn about God’s world through exploration and creative activities.  Learning is always hidden in the form of a game, activity or story.  VBUMC Preschool consists of six classes.  Children must be 2.5 years old by December 31st to participate in the preschool.

Parents may choose to enroll their child for one, two, or three days for PDO.

Infants: 6 children
Toddlers: 8 children
Two Year Olds: 10 children
3 Year Old Classes: 12 children
4 Year Old Classes: 12 children
Pre-K Classes: 12 children
 
TUITION 2013-2014:
Infants – Young 2s (2 before December 31st)
Choose 1, 2 or 3 days
$21 per day first child
$19 per day sibling attending on the same day as the 1st child
 
Older 2s (2.5 years of age before December 31st) – PreK
3 day Program
$265 monthly fee
$238.50 sibling attending on the same day as the 1st child
 
REGISTRATION FEE:
$150 registration fee
The registration fee is charged for each child to become registered in the program for the upcoming year.  Registration Fees are non-refundable. Registration fees cover all special programs and/or field trips and field trip t-shirts.  Children on the waiting list do not pay registration fees until they are fully enrolled.
