Meals on Wheels of Virginia Beach, located at 3750 Sentara Way, Virginia Beach, is a Delivery Meal Location.  This term means that the organization utilizes volunteers and perhaps some paid staff to help deliver meals directly to the home.  This type of site is heavily dependent on volunteers.

 

 

Virginia Beach United Methodist Church is a part of the Delivery Meal Location on Sentara Way and is responsible for deliveries made the fourth week of each month.

 

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday by two person teams.  Couples or singles are welcome to participate.

Special "school's out" arrangements are made for parents or grandparents who would like to participate during holidays or in the Summer along with children or grandchildren.  It's a great way to give their youngsters a truly giving experience.

Participants can choose to deliver on a monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly basis.   More frequent service is welcomed.

 

Deliveries begin at 9:30 AM and usually take about an hour or a little more.
