Adult Volunteer Opportunities - Youth
As an adult, perhaps you've always thought that youth ministries would be a really cool ministry to be involved in -- you're absolutely right!  Or perhaps you long for an opportunity to make an eternal investment in a student's life (this is it!).  Maybe God is calling you to this ministry.  Or maybe you're just curious about what we do in youth ministries.  Great!  We welcome all questions and inquiries.  Take a look at some of the positions listed below to see what interests you.  If you have any questions or if you would like to start the process of becoming involved with youth ministries, please feel free to contact us!  We look forward to the possibility of you serving in this area of ministry in our church!

CHAPERONE or DRIVER
Responsibilities:  Drive carpools of youth to planned events.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps / Assistance
Schedule:  As available.
Length of Commitment:  Not specific.
 
MIDDLE SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER
Responsibilities:  Prepare for each class with provided lesson; promote spiritual growth by being sensitive to the spiritual needs of the class: provide for social interaction/fellowship; and pray for class members.
Spiritual Gifts:  Faith; Knowledge; Pastor-Teacher (Shepherding); Teaching; Exhortation (Encouragement)
Schedule:  3 or more hours in preparation and prayer for each class.
Length of Commitment:  1 year.
 
HIGH SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER
Responsibilities:  Prepare for each class with provided lesson; promote spiritual growth by being sensitive to the spiritual needs of the class; provide for social interaction/fellowship; and pray for class members.
Spiritual Gifts:  Faith, Knowledge; Pastor-Teacher (Shepherding); Teaching; Exhortation (Encouragement)
Schedule:  3 or more hours in preparation and prayer for each class.
Length of Commitment:  1 year.
 
CREW CAFE ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:  Assist in prep and service of meals for CREW.  Complete instructions will be provided.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  1-2 hours on designated Friday evenings and/or Sunday mornings.
Length of Commitment:  Not specific.
 
CREW WELCOME TABLE VOLUNTEER
Responsibilities:  Collect permission slips, welcome new youth, and direct youth to proper areas.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  As needed.
Length of Commitment:  Not specific.
 
CREW ADULT HELPER
Responsibilities:  Assist as needed at youth meetings.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  As needed.
Length of Commitment:  Not specific.
 
SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY FACILITATOR
Responsibilities:  Prepare for each class; promote spiritual growth by being sensitive to the spiritual needs of the class; provide for social interaction/fellowship; and pray for class members.
Spiritual Gifts:  Faith; Knowledge; Pastor-Teaching (Shepherding); Teaching; Exhortation (Encouragement)
Schedule:  3 or more hours in preparation and prayer for each class.
Length of Commitment:  Length of study.
 
FRIDAY EVENING YOUTH FACILITATOR
Responsibilities:  Lead pre-arranged activity and lesson, interact with youth, supervise games and activities, and promote youth fellowship.
Spiritual Gifts:  Administration/Leadership; Faith; Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  Attend scheduled Friday evening youth meetings.
Length of Commitment:  1 year.
 
YOUTH SACRED DANCE COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:  Coordinate the Youth Worship Dance Ministry.  Dance is used in worship services as well as a number of seasonal, large-scale stage productions.
Spiritual Gifts:  Administration/Leadership; Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  Weekly rehearsals for specific performances.
Length of Commitment:  Not specific.
