Children's Church
For children 3 years old through 2nd grade
 
Offered during Sunday worship at:
8:00 a.m.
9:30 a.m.
11:00 a.m.
 
Come to worship and bring your children.  A few minutes into the service, the Pastor will ask the children to come forward and share in a brief Children’s Moment.  The children may then return to their parents or go to Children’s Church.
 
In Children’s Church, they:
  • Open with prayer
  • Sing children’s hymns
  • Collect the offering
  • Sing Doxology
  • Share personal prayers
  • Say the Lord’s prayer
  • Hear a scripture from the Bible
  • Listen to a brief sermon
  • Close in prayer
  • Hear the benediction
Children learn HOW to worship God so when they are ready to join regular worship services with their families, they will recognize the order of worship, know what to expect, and be familiar with memorized prayers and creeds.
 
Then the children play or do an art activity in ROOM 209.  Parents pick their children up immediately following services or adult Sunday school.
 
NOTE:  Children must be fully potty trained.
