Summer Splash is a VBUMC-sponsored summer program whose purpose is to offer children a summer opportunity for age-appropriate fun, Christian fellowship, on-site activities and off-site field trips. Summer Splash provides a safe, structured, Christian environment. Curriculum is Christian-based, and will include a daily Bible lesson.
The program is self-funded by registration and program fees.
Targeting infants through rising sixth grade children, Summer Splash offers TWO FOUR-WEEK SESSIONS in a loving Christian environment. Parents may sign their child up for one or both sessions. During either session, a child may come one day per week or both, paying accordingly. Over each 8-day session, children will enjoy Christian activities, games and stories in addition to on-site activities for all children and off-site activities for older children.
On-site activities include but are not limited to the Bird Lady, SPCA, Music with Miss Char, Aquarium Hermit Crabs and Potts N Paint.
Off-site activities include but are not limited to the Marine Science Museum, the Lighthouse Museum, Jungle Golf, Young Chef’s, Botanical Gardens, Mount Trashmore, Pinboy’s Bowling, Potts N Paints, Red Wing Park and the Jumping Monkey.
Preschool Children – Do NOT go off-site.
2013 Summer Splash Session Days and Dates
Session One – Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 18th through July 11th, 10am - 2pm (NO CLASS JULY 4)
Session Two – Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 23th through August 15th, 10am - 2pm

(Parents may enroll in one session or both)
One session - one day - $115 due at registration
One session - both days - $195 due at registration
Both sessions - one day - $230 ($150 due at registration & $80 due by May)
Both sessions - both days - $390 ($230 due at registration & $160 due by June 22nd)
NOTE: Sorry, no multiple child discount. Fees listed above include a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per session. Fees are non-refundable once session has begun.

Tables will be set up on the second floor by the Media Center 10:00-11:00 am ONLY! After this, all forms and checks must be placed in the Summer Splash box located at the nursery/PDO desk on the first floor.
