CO-ED VOLLEYBALL
A coed volleyball team is sponsored to participate in the city recreational league. The emphasis is on fellowship, encouragement, and building skills more than high-powered competition. Even with this emphasis, the team has made it to the finals the past several years! The season runs from January through March.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
VBUMC currently sponsors a men's basketball team in the city recreation church league which plays from January to March. The team also has a weekly open gym night from September to November on Monday nights from 7:30pm - 9:30pm at Cooke Elementary School. All skill levels are represented and anyone interested is welcome.

WOOD-CARVING CLASS
This group of men and women enjoy woodcarving as a hobby. Experience is not required. Participants enjoy the fellowship and exchange of ideas while carving. There is great satisfaction in the creative process of taking a block of wood and fashioning it into a bird or a duck.
