MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.  MOPS provides relationships for moms in an accepting atmosphere where they are reminded that they are not alone.  

MOMSnext: A group for mothers of school-age kids
As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age kids.

Sisters in Christ Women's Bible Study
Tuesday mornings and evenings, women of all ages gather to gain insight from the Scriptures, grow in their faith, and encourage one another in their Christian Walk.  These studies are approximately ten-week to twelve-week, in-depth Bible studies.  New studies begin quarterly and newcomers from the community and church are welcome!  This is a year-round Bible study opportunity designed especially for women.  Childcare is provided without charge. 

Holy Yoga
Holy Yoga is the intentional practice of connecting our entire being; body, mind and spirit with God; the Father, son and Holy Spirit.  With complete reliance on God’s Word and prayer, Holy Yoga invites us to surrender and introduces us to Grace.  Holy Yoga is a spiritual discipline that allows participants to breathe and move and have their being in Christ.

United Methodist Women's Circles
Women's Circles gather for a time of fellowship, support and service in missions.  There are five women's circles that meet monthly at various times and locations.

Women's Retreat
Calling Women into Faith, Wisdom and Ministry.  Each year the Evangelism Ministry team sponsors a Spirit-filled weekend for women.  For more information, or to register contact Laura Lawver, 757-962-5430.  If you or your group would like to help with hospitality, please contact Laura. 

Knit Wits
The vision of the Knit-Wit’s is to be the hands of Jesus.  The mission is to prayerfully knit or crochet items to comfort and warm others.  Projects include prayer shawls for those experiencing difficult life situations and Lamb's Wool Sweaters for children age infant to 5 year in developing countries.  “The yarn forms the stitches, the knitting forges the friendships, the craft links the generations” and prayer weaves Christ’s love…thus our hands become Jesus’ hands.
